Puerto Madryn is a city in the province of Chubut in Argentine Patagonia. It is the capital of the Biedma Department, and has about 57,571 inhabitants according to the last census in 2001.  

Situated in rugged Argentine Patagonia, Puerto Madryn was founded by Welsh immigrants in 1865.
